The packaging looked fun and interesting and kept to a minimal which is good. The concept of the game is simple and easy to follow, you need to be the first person to find the yeti. The instructions were easy to follow but children 8/9 years of age will need an adult to explain them to make sure they are understood. They all understood how to play the game. Because the card game is partly based on luck it can be slightly frustrating but that is half the fun. Once you’ve played this game a couple of times and are used to the rules it is quick to complete. This game is competitive because it’s human nature to want to win at a game. This game is good at keeping children entertained as it is fast passed and competitive. This game was played by 3 generations of our family and was enjoyed by all. We played this card game a couple of times a week. It is defiantly a great game for family games nights and can be enjoyed by all. We like the fact this game is competitive and doesn’t take too long to complete. My son’s liked the artwork on the cards were fun and the concept of the game was good. This would be a really good game to take away as it is very portable. I feel the age rating of 8+ is a suitable age for this game. I don’t feel many children under 8 would be able to understand and play the game. We were really pleased with the quality of the game. I think £10 for a card game that you can use at home or take away is reasonable. I would consider buying this game as it is fun and easy to follow. I would recommend this game to friends and family with children of a similar age. Well worth the money for family fun. This game is great for all the family. It is beautifully illustrated and well thought out. The game is competitive and fast paced and easy to follow. It is reasonably priced and ideal to take out on your travels. Overall a fun game. We both thought it looked fun and interesting. Sienna was excited to find out what it was about. I like the idea of it being about risk and judgement and trying to beat the other people playing through choosing your own cards. The instructions seemed very complicated when reading them. I had to keep going over them to fully understand what we were meant to be doing. In the end we had to watch the video a couple of times to get the idea of it. Eventually she did understand the game. It didn’t seem very easy at all to start off with and we had to keep referring to the instructions for help. She did like the fact it is a card game of strategy and I could see her debating what she should and shouldn’t put down. She lost enthusiasm with the first few attempts as we were getting used to the rules. She did find the game competitive. She found herself going “let’s play again” when she lost almost like she had to prove that she could win more. An average game I would say for her. It kept her entertained for a while but then it was put away and brought out another day. She played with her older siblings (14 and 16) and myself. We all enjoyed aspects of the game. We played it a couple of times a day at the start whilst she was enjoying it but then it became a “once a week” on games night kind of game. Great game for family games nights. It is small enough to just bring out and doesn’t take long to set up like other games. I liked the idea of it being a race and Sienna liked how we all had to turn the cards over at the same time. She liked the Yeti! She thought it was exciting that a game was created around it. I would say it was ok for travels once you got to your destination but it’s not a travel game as in being able to play on a journey. I thought it was quite complex at first so would certainly encourage people to watch the video first! We soon got the hang of it and would be suitable for that 8 years plus. Great thickness and durability to the cards. The only thing I would have said was that the box was slightly too small for the counter pieces so you have to take them apart to put away as they took are made of card. I think either plastic counters would have been an improvement or a larger container so they could have stayed built up. Great value for ten pounds and would make a great gift. I would buy it as a present for those families that enjoy games nights. I would recommend it to those that have multiple children as you do need at least 3 players. A good idea and I liked how there was video instructions too as the written ones seem quite complicated at first. We liked the game once we got used to the rules. Small and compact so great to pop in a suitcase for when you go on holidays. Emily Shepperson – Sienna 10 Years

Lovely packaging and good theming. Intrigued to play the game. Good concept, easy to understand and theming followed through the whole game. I followed the QR code and the video was easy to follow. Once we played a few times, it was easy to understand ways to get an advantage. Definitely a game of strategy and luck. My kids are 11 and 15 and could see when to take risks and when not to. Often the one who was far ahead would lose after one poor hand. Quick to play and easy to set up. We played it when out at restaurants waiting for our food as it was fast paced with short rounds. They did find it competitive. The winner changes a lot during this game. One good choice or one bad choice can change the leader and often the winner. After a few rounds the kids did lose interest. We played it as a family, I will take it to play with others as it’s easy to teach the rules. This was played 3 weekends in a row. It is a good game to play for a few rounds and fill about 30 min. I liked the theming and quality of the cards. My son liked the concept and it was easy to understand. Definitely ideal to take on your travels. It is the perfect game to throw in your bag. Needs a flat surface area to place the cards on though. I would say ae suitability ideal. Understanding how to play your cards strategically happens at a slightly older age. Very good quality cards and packaging. Good value as good price point. I would buy as a gift. The rules need concept of the game is quick and easy to understand so it won’t get put to the side and left for another day. I would recommend for the same reason. Yes, yes yeti is a card game with easy to understand rules. Once played a few times you can play strategically often being at the front is a disadvantage. The theming and quality of the game is exceptional. Easy to set up and quick to get playing, perfect to fill a quiet 10min. Lucy Lowe – Zak 11 Years
