ZEROWATER 12 CUP / 2.8L JUG

ZeroWater’s 12-cup water filter jug is the first in its class to benefit from a sealed lid and reservoir which allows filtered water to be poured while water which hasn’t yet been filtered remains in the reservoir. This adds a further 2 cups of capacity to the 10 cups of filtered water in the jug. It also features a one-handed, pull and pour button spout for easy pouring from the fridge or for filling bottles.

Unlike other leading water filter jugs, ZeroWater benefits from a patented, 5-stage Ion Exchange Filtration system which removes virtually all dissolved solids from your water. This provides great tasting water without the dissolved solids which may include Minerals, Salts, Metals, Chemicals and Runoff.

Moreover, it reduces 99% of all Fluoride and other inorganics, such as Nitrates, from your water.

Four additional stages of water filtration ensure larger particles and other contaminants are removed, ensuring the filter delivers a “000” reading on the included laboratory-grade water quality meter.

Dimensions (L x W x H): 29.5 x 15 x 28 cm

ZEROWATER 5-STAGE DUAL ION-EXCHANGE FILTER FEATURES:

Certified* to reduce Lead and Chromium – Premium 5-Stage Dual-Ion Exchange filtration system – Ion-Exchange system that removes virtually all dissolved solids in your water – The FDA requires the TDS level in PURIFIED bottled water to reach 000-010ppm. I liked the look of it – very sleek. Quite large but this was expected.  Well packaged. Appeared sturdy. Instructions clear and concise. I wasn’t sure if you had to refill, allow water to pass through filter and discard like some other water filter jugs. I did this anyway but I assume not necessary if TDS meter shows correct purity. Very stylish, sleek and I like the slight blue colour – somehow gives the impression of greater water purity. I found it very straight forward to use. Very similar process to other water filter jugs. The sealed lid reduces the number of times the jug needed to be filled which I appreciated. The one-handed pull and pour button spout  is a fabulous addition. I didn’t realise at first what its function was but have since used it regularly to fill bottles, particularly those with a narrow neck which are harder to pour water into without spillage. The TDS meter gave me confidence that the water was very pure particularly when I compared the purity with my other filter jug and tap water. I was most surprised at the difference. I can only trust the TDS meter and the claims made by the company who have developed it, but from the very clean flavour, I feel the above claims that it reduces 99% of all Fluoride and other organics, such as Nitrates from your water are accurate. Used this constantly throughout the day. Filtering water for the kettle, water for drinking at home and for bottles to take out for my child and myself. Used at home at room temperature. (Not in fridge – too big to fit in my fridge). Very straightforward and easy to clean. I liked having the TDS meter to measure its purity (against other types of drinking water) and I liked the press and pour button for ease of filling bottles. This is good value for the purity achieved from the filter and the smart look of the jug. I feel the purity achieved indicates overall quality of the whole filter jug. All components of the jug also feel sufficiently solid. I would buy this. I like the appearance of the water filter jug but more importantly I trust and appreciate the purity level it ensures. I value this particularly for my 4 year old who I naturally want to give the cleanest water to in order to maintain her general good health and development. I do think the purity is greater than other filter jugs and for that reason would recommend it over other brands. The water from this filter jug is the best quality I’ve tasted from any water filter system and the appearance of the jug is appealing. The press and release button is really useful. I feel this filter jug is worthy of its claims. I enjoyed having the TDS meter so I could see for myself the quality of  the water and compare it with other drinking water sources. I absolutely love the push and pour button for ease of filling bottles although did not realise at first what it was for. The taste of the water speaks for itself and is an absolute pleasure to drink. I feel freshly inspired to increase my water consumption as a result. The product was well packaged with sufficiently clear instructions. The only aspect I found slightly awkward was having to remove the lid to fill the reservoir rather than it being a flip lid, but perhaps this is necessary to enable the lid to be tight enough to enable excess water to remain in the reservoir. An excellent product. Susan Sidaway – Freya 4 years

I was very impressed with the size of the jug. I loved the pump where you can press and get water out without having to lift the jug. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow.  Loved the design. Looks elegant and expensive. It was very easy to use and loved the pump so easy to press to get water without having to lift the jug. The sealed lid was very effective. The water as it filtered it was at the bottom of the jug while it waited to be filtered above the filter. I loved the one-handed pull and pour button spout. It was so easy for the children to pour themselves a drink. This was also such a novelty the children drank much more water than usual as the weather was hot it was so useful. The water tasted so pure it was noticeably better than any other bottled or filtered water I ever had. This was a superb water filter and the taste of the water was noticeably better so it was obvious it was so different. I would use this several times a day. Mostly used during the day. I had it left on the kitchen cabinet where it was easy for the children to help themselves. This encouraged them to drink more too. This was very easy to keep clean. I loved the pump to get a drink. It is such a novelty but so useful too. The jug is so beautiful and I love it all except I feel the filter replacement is very expensive. I had to replace it after 8 days. Maybe it was used more often than usual due to the heat and novelty factor. If the filter was cheaper- lasted longer than it would be excellent value. It is extremely well made. It is of very high quality and looks fabulous. The only reason I would not buy it would be how expensive it would be having to buy replacement filters maybe twice a month at a cost of £20 each. I would recommend for the quality of the water but not for everyday use unless the filter was cheaper. You cannot beat the quality of the filtered water. It is exceptionally tasty. The only reason I would mark it down is the cost of a replacement filter. I love this product.it looks good, is easy to use and encourages children and adults drink more water. It was well packaged on arrival. It comes with a water quality meter tester that you can use to test your water quality and it tells you when you need to change the filter.  It is so handy to make an orange squash drink or a water drink. I really loved the quality of the water it is so nice and different from any water I had tasted before. Margaret Brennan – Kayden, Paul & Becky – 7,9 & 13 Years

I thought that this product was a high volume jug, although too big for the fridge. It looked quite expensive, and sleek. I particularly liked the digital water meter. Instructions easy to read and colourful.  Design clean, simple and stylish.  I particularly like the blue tint to the plastic jug.  In addition, I like the fact that you can store the water meter in the lid. Would say the flap on the waster spout is a little flimsy. It is very easy to fill, and doesn’t take too long to filter one lid-full of water. The sealed lid was effective and did not leak when I poured the water from the jug.  We did not really find the one-handed, pull and pour button worked well. I am confident that the water was purer: it was visibly clearer than tap water and the water meter registered no particles. I was confident in drinking the water from the jug even on the following day. Whereas tap water would be discarded after a short period of time. The water meter tells me that the water is purer and the water looking cleaner. We used this every day. Used at home in the kitchen, especially in the warm weather. Easy to clean just rinsed it with warm soapy water twice a week. I most liked the water meter. I think that the jug might be a little on the expensive side (by about ten pounds). The cartridges are definitely too expensive. The only issue is that the water spout appears a little flimsy. I would buy this because the water did look better. The taste is different to tap water so takes getting used to. However it is significantly more expensive than the competition. I would recommend as I like the product in its entirety but I would have to warn them about the cost of the cartridges. The only concern would be the cost of the replacement cartridges and the longevity of the water spout. Overall impressions were very good and the product itself had many pros and cons.
