Avery Row was founded in 2015 by friends and mothers, Helen Wetz and Fiona Chow. Helen remains at the helm a decade later, and speaking about the inspiration behind the brand, she says: “I’ve always had a huge love of textiles, and following a career in Finance and Retail, I was really excited to start my own business. Having children opened up a whole new world of products I’d never really been aware of, and I was surprised by how gender-based and brightly coloured they were back then. I started Avery Row because I wanted to design products which were practical but would also appeal to parents and blend in with adult spaces in the home. As a mother, I also wanted to know where my products were made and that they were safe for my children. This remains a core value of our brand today, and we are proud to work with a small number of very high-quality suppliers who we know well and trust.”
