Simple yet appealing packaging, it certainly would of caught my eye had I have noticed it in a shop. Really lovely idea, it’s always a challenge to try and make learning fun for your children so this is just perfect. Really good quality, nice sturdy card so they stand up well. There were no pencils supplied in this pack. My son loves colouring so he really enjoys using this product.  Yes this definitely helped with learning the alphabet. My son has just started learning his alphabet and it’s all he wants to do at the moment so I was very pleased to have received this product because it has just been great for him. Having the animals has helped a great deal, he now associates that animal with its letter & although he still hasn’t quite got it yet he will now always say things like “A is for Alligator, M is for Monkey”. He uses it quite a lot. He likes to line them up & tries to put them in order. This is good quality. Compared to similar items on the market I think it’s very good value for money and good quality. I like that your child is able to colour it in, it just brings a bit of fun into it & allows your child to use their imagination. I would buy this product; I think it would make the perfect little gift for any young child. I would recommend this product to anyone with a child learning their alphabet because it just makes it a bit more fun for the child. Really nice product, it’s simple to use & also fun for both yourself & your children. Really lovely product, good quality, great value for money & would make the perfect little gift for any child. This product allows your child to use their imagination which makes learning for them so much more fun. My son really has enjoyed using this pack & I really do believe it has helped him with his alphabet. I will definitely be recommending this product to others. Nicola Cantwell – Ethan 4 years

The pack was smaller than I had imagined it to be. However, this was not a bad thing. They were just the right size, with a manageable area to colour. Overall, my first impressions were good. I love the concept. Never seen anything like it. Being small and portable is advantage too. Each of the 26 cards is attached to a spine at one side of the pack. The card is reasonably thick, took the pencil and crayon colours well, and was easy to cut and fold. Therefore, I think the quality is very good. To be honest, I do not recall any pencils being supplied. The pack of cards is contained in a book-like arrangement and was wrapped in cellophane.  This was sent to me in a jiffy style bag.  My assumption was that my youngest child at the age of 3 would be the only one interested in this product. How wrong was I? All three children descended on the pack when it was time to open it for the 1st time.  The youngest enjoyed finding his ‘one’ K, for Kane which happened to be a Kangaroo. The older two, loved flicking through the cards and making note of which animals were present. The unicorn and narwhal cards were particular favourites! The youngest lost interest after the 1st card which I think is to be expected at his age, as they only have short attention span, but the others were colouring, cutting and folding the cards for ages. They thoroughly enjoyed it! My son is a young 3 year old and is just started to learn the alphabet at nursery school. Whilst he enjoyed the activity, I thing at his age, he is a bit young to have learnt from it. I think if he had been closer to 4 years old, the learning aspect of these cards would have applied. There is much to talk about on the cards. The illustrations have a hand drawn appearance about them which adds to their charm. We loved the kangaroo with the baby in the pouch, the little fish dotted about, the snakes and the worms. None of us had heard of a Narwhal before, so we definitely learnt something new there. We have used the pack 3 times. My youngest only participated once, but the older two were compelled to finish the whole set and display them around the house. Although the youngest did not benefit immediately from the learning side of this pack, I hope to keep the completed cards dotted around the house, so that they can be seen by him and discussed which may help him to learn his alphabet over time. The product is good quality. I think the only criticism, is maybe change the orientation of some of the colourings. Easier said than done, I know. I found that the portrait ones stood up better, such as the Penguin, as opposed to the landscape ones, such as the kangaroo.  I think this product does offer good value for money. It is more than just a colouring set, and therefore, the depth of the product gives it added value. There were three things I really liked about this product.  The drawings were small. This meant that the children could start and finish colouring a picture on one sitting, in a small amount of time. This is very appealing.  Most of the time, if they start a colouring, which is normally A4 in size, they get bored half way through and abandon it. Choice of examples. The animal theme was a great idea, and it was so refreshing to not see U for Umbrella or Q for Queen. The pop up aspect. It was very easy to achieve this. Normally I struggle to know what to do with the kids completed drawings and I am limited by the fact they are flat. Most end up on the fridge. The thing about these cards is they can be placed anywhere, for instance on a window sill, table or desk.  I would purchase this set.  I would recommend for all the positive reasons above.  I am giving a 4 as I feel if the orientation of all the cards was changed to portrait, they would fold up and sit better once completed.  I really liked this product. Simple and effective. It’s impressive that someone came up with the concept.  One major thing to note, I think the pop up side of the cards needs to be more obvious on the packaging at the front. I know it is written on there, but I think we all are more taken in by illustrations, than we are by words, initially. There is a small picture of a folded card on the back and this would probably be better placed at the front. Just an observation. Louise Marks – Millie, Chloe, Kane – 8, 6 & 3 years

Looked good with good animations.  A lovely idea for children to be involved. Good quality card.  Regarding the pencils my daughter had to press hard sometimes to get a consistent colour. My daughter did enjoy colouring in these cards but I think an older child would benefit more.  This did help her to enjoy learning the alphabet by associating animal names with letters which helped. We also spoke about each animal.  We used this a few times. Pencils in the pack could be better quality. Reasonable value and would be a good present for a child.  I really liked the range of animals and animation.  I would not buy this yet as I think my daughter is a bit too young but it would be a great gift for an older child. I would recommend for the reasons outlined above.  Good product, lovely animation. Would be better for a 4-5 year old. Pens would be better than pencils. Chloe Chick – Amelie 3 Years
