It looked good, lovely quality packaging and eye-catching colours and pictures. My boys were interested in the product straight away. Lovely idea for a craft activity, bit different and loved all the different animal designs – lots of variety to choose and offers something for everyone. I did find the instructions a bit tricky to begin with, and it did take a while to fully understand. They were quite small and it would have been helpful if the instructions were slightly bigger – especially to help children to easily see them as well. The instructions were just photos, which were simple, but might of been helpful to have a brief overview of what to do written down as well. We did this together as i think it would have been a bit tricky for him to do by himself without any help. It was a nice activity to do together. Once we did one, I think he would have been able to the next one by himself once seeing what to do. The numbers were quite small, but apart from that, the pieces were all labelled and we were able to follow the sequence order to glue them together. My son was able to follow the correct sequence from the pictures and labels. It took about half an hour to fully complete. Yes absolutely proud of his achievement. My son LOVED it – and it is still proudly on display now. I loved the fact that my son could build something from scratch quite quickly and have a great end product to show. My son was not interested about reading the facts – I think he was too engrossed in the building of the animal to stop and read the facts. It might be a nice idea to have the facts on some kind of flash card they could keep with the animal at the end, and learn all about it once they have finished building. Yes, it was lovely to have a good quality craft made from card, without any plastic. So much kids craft isn’t environmentally friendly, so great to have this choice on the market. We had it on the kitchen windowsill, but is now proudly on display in my son’s bedroom. My son would definitely love some more to add to his collection and has already been browsing other animals and designs. My son’s favourite part was ‘building the animal and it’s bright colours’ – Hudson, Age 7. I loved that it was a bit of a different activity for the kids to do, a lovely activity to do together and to be creative. And you have a lovely product at the end to keep and looks great as well. Yes, he was really engaged all the way through and loved building it. My son is 7 and he was able to do it and really enjoyed it. It definitely wouldn’t be suitable for anyone younger than 6. A lovely, fun craft activity for the slightly older children. Yes, absolutely a great Christmas or birthday gift. I think it’s the perfect, fun little gift – and will probably be buying some for Christmas. A great stocking filler. Yes, it is a good quality product. I would say it is slightly on the more pricier side, and just a couple of pounds less would really be ideal. But it is a great product, and you do get good quality so it does make it worthwhile. And you get a great little animal friend to keep at the end. I was really impressed with the quality, nice packaging, lovely thick cardboard and bright colours. A great quality craft activity. Yes, I would buy this product again – it helps that there are so many designs and animals to choose from, so you can build up quite a collection. Perfect as a little present/gift as well. I would recommend as my son loves to show friends and family what he made when they come and visit! A great product, the only thing stopping it being a 5 would be to have bigger instructions that were easier to read (and bigger pictures for the kids to follow!). We thought this was a great activity, lovely to do together with your children. Great quality product and love that there are so many designs and animals to choose from. It is also environmentally friendly and was impressed how well it held together and how strong the final product was, just being made from cardboard. All the designs look great with lovely colours. A win-win for the kids, and adults too! Really good fun and my son loved building all the layers and watching it ‘come to life’ as we made it. Abbey Cope – Hudson 7 Years

Small and compact, nice neat packaging. Children were very excited to start making it! Lovely designs and good concept. The younger children aged 6 and 8 struggled to follow the instructions. They weren’t really detailed enough for them to follow step by step. My 9yr old managed fine though. My 9yr old really enjoyed it and found it easy. The younger two struggled and couldn’t complete it and were just getting frustrated with it. My older child managed to glue pieces together with ease. Took him about half an hour to complete. He was very pleased with the final result. Yes My older child was very interested in the facts it gave about the animal. Yes I love this aspect. We try very hard as a household to be environmentally friendly. This is now on show on a little shelf in his bedroom where he keeps all his special things! My oldest would love to build more from the collection. He loved the whole thing. I like the environmental aspect and the creativity and education points. This did keep them entertained. No I don’t believe it is suitable for 6+. My 9 year old managed fine, but the 8yr old and 6yr old really struggled, got frustrated and gave up. It was just a bit too fiddley and small and the instructions were not great for that age. This would make and ideal Christmas or birthday gift as it was good fun and engaging for my child. I do believe it is good value for money. Really good quality. My children really enjoyed building it so I would buy this. I would recommend as it is good fun, educational and creative. Great product and concept. Needs a rethink in terms of age range and instructions given. This is a fab product and with a little tweaking could be fantastic for children. It is environmentally friendly, encourages creativity and learning. Hannah Gregory – Children Aged 6, 8 & 9 Years

Having looked at the online products, I was surprised that the packages were so small. I love that it’s made of cardboard and recyclable. The instructions are rubbish as very sketchy detail and the YouTube video is too fast. My children did not find this easy to put together. I had to help them both (age 5 and 7) for the most part. My children did find it easy to glue the pieces together in numerical sequence. Both are still incomplete. One lost interest and one didn’t complete as it was assembled wrong. Instructions are poor. Unfortunately this was not finishes as they both got bored as part of it put together incorrectly due to lack of instructions. They did both like the educational facts about the animal model they had. Best part about this is it is made from environmentally friendly card. If the instructions were better yes my children would like to collect more. They did like the fact the models looked cute. I liked the fact it is small and environmentally friendly. This kept them entertained for a time. I think the age suitability is ideal for my children. Due to our experience I would not consider purchasing this as a gift. With better instructions this would be good value. The quality is good and nicely presented. I would not buy this because it didn’t really hit the mark with my two children. I would not recommend as instructions need to be better, small children need step by step. Love that it’s environmentally friendly and the cardboard is really high quality. It’s just a shame that instructions on the box and on the video weren’t clear enough for my children to complete. Lucy Kibbler-Weaver – Leo & Robyn, 7 & 5 Years
