My initial impressions of the Isoki
satchel were very positive. I was impressed with the way in which the product
was delivered (packaged and wrapping used) and how the product looked visually.
The satchel was very well packaged, within the external box the satchel was
packaged within a dust bag. This gave the sense I was opening a high quality
product. This changing bag is perfect and has made my life easier. Having had a
baby only 4 weeks ago, I used a change bag I had purchased for 1 week and then
used the Isoki satchel for the remaining 3 weeks to ensure I had something to
compare this changing bag too. I love the different compartments this bag has.
There are 3 separate zip compartment; 2 are within the main body of the bag and
offer several pockets in each which can be used for nappies, wipes, bibs and
even one for your mobile phone, the third zipped compartment (which is my
favourite!) is on the front of the bag, this opens up and offers 2 pockets, 1
mesh zip pocket and an envelope pouch. I did however find that you can’t
overfill the front section as it does make the bag bulge. I managed to fit everything
I required for nappy change within the front section. As I have quickly learnt,
you become a pro at doing things 1 handed, it’s fab that all compartments are
easy to open and close with 1 hand. On my other changing bag, the handles stay
in the upright position which can be frustrating when attached to the pram,
however, this bag has a metal attachment which allows the straps to flap down
the bag meaning they don’t get in the way. The handles are also a good size to
allow for putting on the shoulder. The only thing I would change on this
bag would be have an open pocket on the side or front as I have found it
frustrating having to stop to open my bag to get my mobile phone out. This bag
is very well made; my changing bag has everything bar the kitchen sink in and
is very heavy. The Isoki doesn’t look like its overfilled and it doesn’t look
like any strain is being put on the straps with the weight. The material used
is very soft. The appearance of the material is still in the same condition as
when it was delivered. I don’t think this material will start to crease/ show
signs of wear. The straps were easy to adjust and comfortable when in use. I
felt the accessories that came with the bag were ideal and certainly helped
with organising everything that I have to have with me. I used the zipped purse
to keep dummies in. The changing mat offers good padding and fits perfectly in
one of the internal pouches. The bottle carrier is a good size and fits all our
Philips Avent and Tommee Tippee bottles in. This bag can certainly be used as a
travel bag, day bag, sports bag. No one would be any the wiser that it is
actually a baby changing bag! There are so many things that I love about this
bag it’s difficult to pick one. I really like the 3 separate zipped
compartments each with separate pockets in each. It makes it so easy to be
organised and makes being out and about with a newborn bearable! Think this bag
is very competitively priced and is good value for money. I would consider
purchasing this bag. I would highly recommend.
The only thing this bag needs to make it perfect is an open pocket in
the front or side of the bag for my mobile. Rachel Hawkes – Eva 4 Weeks 4 Days

Good – I like
that it doesn’t immediately look like a changing bag. Style is one of this
bag’s best features. I am a big fan of large leather bags and totes anyway, so
this bag compliments my own style. In terms of practicality it is excellent,
particularly the zip down front pocket which allows quick access to items
without needing to rummage around in the main body of the bag. I would prefer
to pay slightly more and get real leather. I am not really a fan of faux
leather/pleather/vegan leather but that is just personal preference. The
various pockets were very good, but not quite perfect –it could do with a larger
insulated pouch or pocket or cold bag. Now that my son is one I need to be able
to keep milk, beakers of water, fruit, snacks etc. cool, which can’t all fit in
the insulated bottle carrier. The handles/Straps are very easy to adjust. The bag is heavy but that is to be expected
given its size. The accessories were a big help. The changing mat in particular
is of a good size and nice quality. It is better than the mats that came with
either of my two previous changing bags. I think I could probably fit
everything I needed in it for a night away. It is very smart and would not look
out of place at my office (a law firm). The overall style – it is not too
girly, not too mumsy, and not flashy in any way – it’s just a classic,
understated design. This does represent
good value. Although I think it is a bit
expensive considering it is not real leather. I would rather pay more and get
the same bag in real leather. If I was in the market for a new changing bag I
would consider buying it. It would probably be between this and a Pacapod. I would recommend particularly to my
professional working mum friends. Overall
I had a very good experience with this product. The one thing that would make
my life easier would be to have, as outlined above, the ability to keep more
than just one bottle cool or warm. Benjamin is always eating so if I go out for
longer than an hour I have to take the entire contents of my fridge! I have
ended up having to use my own separate insulated lunch bag, which is a bit
burdensome. However it hasn’t stopped me enjoying the bag and using it every
day. I’ve had several compliments from friends who can’t believe it is a
changing bag until they see all the compartments inside. Fiona Chute – Benjamin 10 Months

I was very
impressed with the look, size and beautiful presented packaging when this
arrived. The look and style of this bag is great. It looks classic, expensive and very well
made. The size is absolutely ideal for a
busy mum. Easy to hold with standard
straps and you get stroller straps and shoulder straps. The way the internal
part of this bag has been designed is spot on.
It has all the compartments you need as a busy mum to take everything
you need with you when out with baby. I
also just loved the internal design material and the fact it is wipe
clean. A godsend as a new mum. I am also
a fan of big bags and this meets everything I would want in a change bag. The quality, finish and overall look are
excellent and although not leather this will certainly stand the test of time. The
Isoki has so many pockets and you really can fit everything in. At the front you have a zipped section with 4
pockets one mesh pocket. This I used for
things I knew I needed to access quickly and it was just so easy to use when
out with my daughter. I would have all
my baby food, nappies, bottle, change of clothes all my own personal bits I
carry around and still room to add more. The adjustable straps were easy to use
and comfortable and never dug in my shoulder when using the longer shoulder
strap. The accessories that come with this bag were just right. Bottle warmer was ideal, loved the purse as
large enough to fit my own purse and mobile phone in and house keys which were
all safe in one little purse carrier. The changing mat is lovely, good size,
wipe clean and feels soft. So never had
any worries changing Catherine using this change mat. Lovely. This bag is so much more than a
change bag. I will be using this in the
future as a general day to day bag and just brilliant for weekend trips
away. This bag offers so much difficult
to state which is the best. Most of all
I love the fact it does not look like a change bag and will serve me well for
years to come as a general day to day bag and travel bag. Without a doubt top
value for your money. I would buy this
bag in a heartbeat. I will be buying one
for my sister-in-law who will be having her baby in the New Year. I have also had many people comment on how
lovely this bag looks and been recommending to all. This bag has been a
godsend. Everything you need in a bag design for a busy new mum and it just
looks Fabulous. I take it with me
everywhere. Juliette Simmons – Catherine
