Looks like a really fun educational game. Love that it’s a game but it also has the educational element to it too. Instructions were easy to understand. We had to play a couple of times for Daisy to get the hang of it but she loves playing it now. This is a great game that teaches children numbers in different ways so they are not always looking for one way. Gives the children different ways that one single number can be represented. Daisy loves playing games and she loves anything educational. She has even started watching Numberblocks on the TV and has really helped her recognition of numbers. No we have not tried all the games yet as I wanted Daisy to get the hang of one game entirely before showing her a new game. Daisy is starting to understand that one number can be represented in multiple ways but is still getting to grips with it as she has only just turned 3. Daisy is understanding and recognising shapes and is starting to use matching skills. We usually play with this set at least once a day during the week. We usually play with them on the carpet in the living room as it’s a big area. We have only played as two players (myself and Daisy) at the minute but I’m sure this will expand to the family especially at Christmas. The tub is really handy to keep them altogether so that none go missing. My daughter loved learning about shapes and numbers. I love that this is a game but it has the educational aspect to it too. Yes 100% a great educational toy which would be good especially for indoor playtime or golden time at early schools. We played with this set for a long time, it kept Daisy entertained and engaged for a while. Yes, 3 is a suitable age as she has been learning about numbers and shapes at preschool so was nice to tie in some learning from school into a game at home so I can see what progress she is making. 100% yes! I would love to buy this for my cousin as he is 3 years as well so this may be an ideal buy for a Christmas present for him. It is quite expensive for what it is but the tiles are durable and will last a long time so it is a good purchase. The tiles are well made and will last a long time so perfect for growing with the child and a game for the family. Yes I would love to buy this for my cousin as he loves educational toys and loves maths and learning. I would recommend as it is a good game with educational aspects too so ideal for fun but also for learning. Great little set that has educational properties but also the fun elements of a game to play with the family. Overall experience was really good, product took a long time to be dispatched from me accepting the product but the product quality and overall aspect of the game was perfect! The dominoes came in a round tub and were surprisingly heavy. Very well packaged with clear instructions and of course the number blocks branding. I was initially unsure if my daughter would like them however as soon as I got them out she wanted to play with them. The idea I think is fab, teaching kids their colours, numbers and the idea of matching things together. The instructions are basic but I think that is a good thing. There would be no reason to complicate it and have too much information on the tub. Just being informed of what dominoes to join up is more than enough. My daughter initially had a rough idea because she has played with animal dominoes in the past. She quickly understood the colour wheel element as she knows her colours. The numbers and dots took a bit more practice as she knows how to count but wasn’t fully there with the actual numbers. I think this is a very innovative way of learning. From using these dominoes my daughter now knows actual numbers up to 9 and can put them together without prompt. She can say a green four, whereas before it would have just been green. They are very colourful which sparks the interest of not only my daughter but also my 1 year old son. My daughter can now see and say the actual number on the dominoes and count the dots. My children literally get these out every day. My daughter April being three, understands the different types of game you can play and likes to mix it up and be silly. My son loves getting them all out and putting them all back in the tub (with my supervision). We used the guide to begin with and learn what we needed to do and from then on continued on our own. We have played all the different games. My daughter even likes to put them in a row with all the 0’s and then any 1’s and so on. She initially didn’t understand why there were black ones but now she understands that a blank matches with another blank. 100%, April now understands that numbers are an amount of things. Whether that be in a written form, dots, circles or even colours. She has been so pleased with herself for getting them right when playing independently. She was already very good with her colours and shapes but now understands that you can count them. She is also getting much better at adding up the dots and making a total. It doesn’t feel forced either, she genuinely likes to do it. Since we have had them, they have been played with every day. If my daughter doesn’t get them out my son is pointing at them to get them out. He absolutely loves getting them out and putting them in different things such as their stepping stones (upside down) and then back in the tub. We have a large tray that we get out so that April can play with them properly and also so that her brother cannot ruin her game. For the most part they are played with in the living room either on our big play mat or on a tray on the table. Myself and my mum (nanny) have both played with the children and the dominoes. It brings back memories of when I played dominoes with my nan. The tub is great for storing the dominoes. Not too big and cumbersome that it isn’t easy to put away. The screw on lid is fab, this helps when my son tries to get into them whilst I am not in the room. I think my daughter loves that there are so many pieces and different types of games she can play. At times it has even been raining dominoes much to my dismay. I love that it has been educational and fun for my daughter but that also my son loves them too. I personally love the way they feel, they are really soft but not flimsy. I think they are great for sensory too. 100% educational, April has even told her nursery about her dominoes game. We aren’t a household with tablets for the children and having toys like this keeps both of my children entertained. They have honestly played with it every day since getting them which isn’t usually the norm as with some other toys they have. My son especially likes having things to hold and always has one in is hand (supervised of course). 100%. April is old enough to understand not to put these in her mouth and also understands that they are small enough to get lost under the cabinet or sofa and tries her best to keep them away from those areas of the room. My son is 1 and although he is very good at keeping them out of his mouth, I wouldn’t want to leave him unsupervised with the dominoes due to that issue. This would be a fantastic present for Christmas or a birthday. I am actually thinking of buying a set for our friends son for Christmas. Given the quality and the options to play different games these are pretty good value for money. I think if they were slightly cheaper, more mums would be inclined to purchase them as things are tough these days. I think if I saw them out prior to testing them I may not have spent £23.99 on them but having tried them i would definitely recommend for others to buy them and they are worth the money. £20 might be a more attractive price. They are the best quality dominoes I’ve event played with. They are very smooth with rounded edges so aren’t sharp. Vibrant colours and clear written numbers. Couldn’t praise them more on the quality. Yes I would buy these, they have been one of the best items my children have played with this year. I don’t think we have had any other toys that have been played with everyday other than my daughters dolly. We are thinking of getting them for a friends son this Christmas. Yes I would definitely recommend these. They are a great learning tool, colourful and it’s exciting to be a bit messy with them too. I can’t fault them at all. The only thing I think could put people off is the price. I think at £20 they would be more enticing to parents in the current climate. We love these dominoes. They have been great fun for both of my children not just my daughter. Myself and my mum have played with the children with them and it became something we could all do together. Very educational and has taught my daughter how to count and she now knows written numbers. Fab product. I was impressed with quality when the dominoes set first arrived. It had a handy container to keep everything neatly together. The Numberblock characters were prominent on the side which excited my son. The dominos themselves felt solid and good quality to touch. It’s an intriguing concept. You have the classic dominoes game which helps with identifying and matching numbers. Then a further 3 number games- bigger than you, memory match and odds and evens. There are different pieces depending on the game of the ability level of your child. My son is 4 and I was uncertain of his ability to grasp the game so was interested to see if he enjoyed the game and if it helped with his number skills. The instructions could have been better and I did struggle to understand all of the games on first read. However, I did work it out eventually. My husband had a similar issue and eventually asked me to explain it. We haven’t quite got my son to understand all the rules yet, but he’s mostly there. For example, he still forgets that he’s supposed to keep his domino pieces hidden. That said, he understands the main idea of the game, enjoys playing it, and is learning which is the most important part of the game. I thought the way the domino set represented numbers in four different ways was an innovative approach to learning about numbers and shapes. My son is currently learning about dice faces at school, and this set has really helped reinforce that learning. He still finds the shapes and circle segments a bit tricky, but with continued play, I can already see his understanding improving. This set was definitely effective in helping my son learn about how numbers can be represented in different way. I really liked how each number kept the same colour across all its representations. This made it easy for him to make the connection between them. My son really enjoyed playing the game with all the pieces, especially the Numberblock character faces. He loved learning how each character represents traditional numbers. We enjoyed trying all the games in the guide but admittedly traditional dominos was the firm favourite. I agree that this set has helped my son understand that numbers can be represented in different ways. From the way he’s now placing the pieces more quickly, I can see that his understanding of number representation has definitely improved. This game has definitely helped improve my son’s matching and shape recognition skills. The “Bigger Than You” game, in particular, was great for developing his maths skills. This was an easy game to bring out and play each day. We usually played while my younger child was napping, as it’s not the easiest game to manage with little ones around. She has a habit of interfering and moving the pieces. The playtime was just right for keeping my son engaged with the game. We mostly played the game on our coffee table. My son has a little chair that he brings over so he can sit opposite me. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to share this game with family, but I can see it being great fun for all of the family to join in with. The storage tub is very handy for keeping all the dominoes together and fits nicely in my toy cupboard. My only minor criticism is that the lid isn’t quite secure enough. It came off during delivery and the pieces were loose. It’s also a little too easy for my younger child to open, which I’d rather avoid. My child loved the games, especially traditional dominoes. He very fond of how noticing how different pieces could be used to represent different numbers. We normally had to play several games in one sitting, as he did not want to stop. The best part was seeing how much my son enjoyed the games, and as a bonus, I could see his number skills improving along the way. It occurred to me that this would be a great toy for use in an early year’s classroom. The educational aspect of the game makes it ideal for that setting, and it could easily keep several children engaged at once. The sturdiness of the pieces also means they could withstand the rougher play that often comes with group activities in schools. This domino set kept my son thoroughly entertained, and he often asked to play again because he didn’t want to stop. My son is 4 and half and has just about understood all the games. Before he started school, I don’t think he would have had the knowledge to play without getting frustrated. I think he’s now the right age for this set, but parents should consider their child’s abilities when deciding if it’s suitable. This would make a lovely birthday or Christmas gift. The children would be excited to see the Numberblock characters when opening the present. I think the price is a little higher than I would consider value for money. But the learning potential, quality of the dominos and the enjoyment of the game would make me consider the price. I’m impressed with the quality of the dominoes. They feel strong, the numbers and pictures are nicely printed, and they look like they could take a bit of rough play without wearing off. I would happily buy this domino set after trying it out. It’s kept my son entertained and helped him with his maths skills. I’ve also loved having the chance to spend some fun one on one time playing with him. I would recommend this product to friends and family. We’ve enjoyed it, so I can easily see children that are similar age to my son having as much fun with the set. We’ve had a great time playing with this dominoes set. I’ve given it 5/5 as I’ve loved playing the games with my son and seeing him learn while having fun. We have loved playing with this dominoes set and have found it fun and educational. It’s helped my son improve his understanding of numbers, shapes and maths skills. The Numberblock characters add to the engagement of children while will recognise them from the TV show. The set is great quality, and has sturdy pieces and a handy storage tub.
