The front
cover is very impressive a spooky book and was not sure what to expect. Packaging ideal for the item. My daughter was eager to see what was inside.
The quality and how this is presented is very good as sparks your
imagination. The stories are spooky and
relate to phobias but with a twist. The
stories are well written and help you understand people’s phobias. Like a witch scared of toads, cowboy scared
of horses. This is packed full of lovely
well written short stories which we both enjoyed. Although I would say some of them not for
younger children but would appeal to older children. I also personally enjoyed the book. The illustrations are really good and relate
to each individual story. I just liked
the concept of the book and how entertaining it was for me and my
daughter. This is really good value for
money and I will be reading some of these on Halloween night with props of
course. I would certainly buy this as a
gift as something totally different. I
have already recommended. A very
entertaining book and helps your children understand and relate to peoples
phobias. We enjoyed this so much. Michelle

I thought the book cover was quite
impressive. Packaging very good. I loved the design of the front cover and
thought it was very creative. Very good
hard covered book. Great value for the price. I think the book isn’t as much
for children. It’s good for adults though. Illustrations were good. I liked the book but seem to creep up on me
since I’m very scared of a lot of things. This is very good value for
money. I don’t think I would have bought
it for myself but would consider buying it for a family members or friends. I
would definitely recommend this book. Overall
great product especially for people who are scared of many things. However I wouldn’t read
this to my children. Josipa Setka – Jay 5 Years

The Phantasmagorical Phobias Book 4.8/5

When the book arrived we read the blurb and had a little flick through
and were very excited to read it. It sounded amazing and the illustrations
looked great. The illustration on the cover made the book look intriguing and
mysterious and we couldn’t wait to get stuck into it; however the paper felt
quite flimsy and cheap. I’m not sure if this is just because it was a sample to
review or if the book is actually like this. I loved he front cover and as soon
as my daughter saw it she wanted to sit down and read it. My daughter thought
it looked spooky and couldn’t wait to get stuck it. The paper felt very thin
and cheap as if it would tear very easily. I loved it! It was amazing learning
about all different phobias. My daughter also loved it. She loves anything
spooky so the use of witches and vampires captured her from the beginning and
she loved learning the correct names for different phobias and is now forever
telling people about them. The illustrations were very good and incredibly
detailed. I most liked learning about all the different phobias with my
daughter because it was great to find out the correct terminology for things
like being scared of toads etc. This is
good value as well as being a great collection of short stories it also teaches
about all different phobias. I
wouldn’t buy it as we already have a copy, however I would buy another book by
the same Author. I would recommend this as it’s a great book to help children
understand about all different phobias. It was a great book to read and my
daughter loves it and is always teaching everyone about the different phobias
she has learnt about. At first I thought my daughter may be too young for this
book but even at 4 years of age she understood it and it has become a firm favourite.
As well as being a great collection of short stories to read it is also
educational and helps children to understand about the different fears and
phobias some people face. Karen Mundy – Karlie-Rose 4 Years
