The game
looks fun and very different to anything else offered on the market. Good
packaging, bright and colourful. Excellent
quality – solid and colourful. Easy to understand and play. Straightforward aim
and objectives. Took a bit of explaining several times before she understood it
fully. The game was fun and very engaging. It didn’t take ages to play either
which is always important with young children! Made good use of my child’s
numeracy skills – involved counting and hand/eye co-ordination. Not at all
complicated – easy to understand and play. Enjoyed playing with the train and
people outside of the game. Looks like proper toy – not something that could
only be used with the game. Excellent quality. The board was solid and easy to
set up. The train and people were fantastic quality – could easily be mistaken
for an actual toy! The box was solid and good quality too. In all fairness,
considering the quality of the game it does offer value for money. There are
cheaper games on the market but nothing that is comparable with this game. I
really loved the high quality of this game.
Would make a lovely gift for a child. Have already recommended it to
family and friends! Lovely game that is fun to play with the family and
keeps your child engaged and entertained! Sarah Miles – Holly 5 years

Lovely bright
& colourful looking game with interactive wooden pieces that look high
quality. Looks very appealing to my 5 year old. Bright, bold and colourful box
that immediately draws you in, my son couldn’t wait to open it! Continues with its
colourful theme inside with the board and playing pieces. Very easy for my son
to set up on his own, the little wooden train was already made so no assembly
needed! No real assembly needed, very easy for my son to put the board
together and add the spinner, easy peasy! I think the age range is perfect;
the playing pieces are quite small but suitable for 4 years plus as
recommended. The little wooden train is great for imagination play. My son
enjoyed playing with it on its own with the little men play pieces that fit on
the train. Would have loved to see other 3d wooden pieces on the board for more
interest. Letting my son set up the game board helps puzzle solving –
working out which bit fits together/colours match. The game does need a certain amount of
thought and working out what to do at each train station so certainly got my
son concentrating. This did keep my son’s attention. You need to be constantly thinking/working
out what move to make and whether you need to move your play pieces about as
well as moving the little train round every move which my son loved best. My
son loves playing with the train on its own and wishes it came with more pieces.
Lovely quality wooden playing pieces and train, no cheaply painted/glued bits
in sight! I would say yes good value for money, with the quality wooden pieces
included, would like to have seen other 3d parts on the board to make it more
interesting. I am buying one for my nephew’s birthday. I would recommend for
children aged 4-6 years. Lovely bright
board and wooden play pieces, only thing we struggled with some of the play
instructions, a little confusing in what you had to do at certain times of play.
Lots of fun with the wooden train, during and after playing the game. The game
is bright, fun and colourful with high quality play pieces. I would say we
enjoyed it most after 2-3 plays as the instructions seemed a little confusing
in places. Emma Walters – Harrison 5 Years

The packaging
is appropriate and the design is eye catching. My youngest became very
interested when she saw the packaging too. Assembly is very quick. There
is little assembly involved. The instructions for the game however are Poorly laid
out. I had no concerns about my children
playing this game. The packaging on the box front would appeal to children of
preschool age. I don’t think the game in its current context is
particularly playable. The Instructions
do not make much sense. My daughter did enjoy playing with the train on its own
however. From a Childs development prospective I did not see any benefit from
this game. My Childrens interest in this game waned quickly because the
instructions were incredibly hard to follow. It was very time consuming trying
to ascertain the game rules because they were so badly written. My youngest
daughter thoroughly enjoyed playing with the little toy train away from its
purpose in the game. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the toy
train and board graphics. At £24.99, I think this toy does not offer good value
for money. The interactive element is appealing, the train is a great little
toy and the graphics on the front of the box are eye catching. BUT could be so much better if they could sort
out the VERY confusing game instructions. Very well presented but confusing to
play. Louise Marks – Millie & Chloe – 6 & 4 Years
